About JapanDori

Japan is one of those places that gets under your skin. The food, the temples, the trains that run on time, the feeling of wandering down a backstreet in Kyoto and stumbling onto something you'll never forget.

JapanDori was built by Harry, a Japan travel obsessive who got tired of piecing together itineraries across ten different tabs. The idea was simple — one place to plan your whole trip, find the best spots, and actually feel prepared before you land.

The name comes from dori （通り） — the Japanese word for street or avenue. Every great Japan trip is really just a series of streets you decided to walk down.

We're a small operation based in the US, building something we genuinely wish had existed when we first started planning trips to Japan.
